Information we collect
We collect account and contact information such as your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and J2 customer number. We also process shipment details, tracking numbers, package descriptions, declared values, dimensions, uploaded receipts, shipment status, charges, and payment status. We do not store complete payment-card details in the J2 Shipping app.
How we use information
We use this information to provide freight-forwarding services, identify packages, calculate charges, communicate shipment updates, support customs and delivery operations, prevent fraud, maintain records, and improve customer support.
Service providers
Information is processed by service providers that support J2 Shipping, including Clerk for authentication, Convex for application data and file storage, Resend for email delivery, Fygaro for payment processing, Expo for application services, and Apple for TestFlight and App Store distribution. We may also disclose information when required by law, customs authorities, fraud prevention, or safe shipment delivery.
Retention and deletion
You can request deletion from the mobile app's Profile screen. The app submits a deletion request, asks the authentication provider to remove the sign-in, and starts verified Convex cleanup of the profile, shipments, pre-alerts, uploaded receipts, reviews, and queued email content. Transaction, payment, fraud-prevention, and administrator audit records may be retained when required for legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, or security obligations.
Security and choices
We use authentication, access controls, encrypted network connections, and protected device storage to safeguard information. You may update your profile, sign out, delete your account, or decline camera and photo-library access.

If you cannot sign in to the mobile app, you can use our account-deletion request form. We will verify the request before removing an account.
